The Tuesday-Thursday Program

Meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm

Age in September: 2 yrs 7 mos to 3 yrs 5 mos

For many children, the Tuesday-Thursday Program will be their first school experience. The focus is on supporting a smooth separation from caregivers and fostering the development of social skills. The class follows a predictable schedule that includes meeting time, free play, music, creative movement, art, storytelling, lunch, and outdoor play. Children learn to build relationships with adults and peers outside the home, practice sharing and cooperation, and express their needs and feelings verbally.

Throughout the year, students explore engaging topics such as the seasons, community helpers, and the five senses. The curriculum also incorporates learning about and celebrating a variety of holidays and cultures. Families are invited to participate in morning meetings to share how they celebrate their own cultural traditions and holidays.
