The Campus

The unparalleled Presidio campus makes the Lone Mountain experience magical.

One of the defining highlights of the Lone Mountain experience is the beautiful, natural setting. Nestled in a quiet corner of the Presidio, the school’s long driveway and ample parking make daily drop-offs and pick-ups safe and relaxed for everybody.

Learn about what makes our campus special below.

  • Front view of a brick building with white columns and a pediment, surrounded by greenery and trees, under a clear blue sky.

    The Buildings

Our two buildings contain nearly 8,000 square feet of beautifully renovated, light-filled classroom space, including art rooms, a gross motor room, and separate spaces for small-group activity and instruction.

  • Four young girls playing on outdoor playground equipment during a sunny day. One girl is sitting on the edge of the playground structure wearing a pink outfit and a paper crown. Another girl in pink and purple is standing on the structure, and a third girl is climbing while wearing glasses, a pink shirt, and a light jacket. The fourth girl can be seen in the background, climbing higher up on the playground.

    The Playground

Our Playground connects the two buildings with 3,400 square feet of space. It’s home to the play structures, sand box, garden, basketball hoop, and free space for games.

  • Two young girls sitting on the grass in a park, with multiple children and adults playing and walking in the background, surrounded by trees and a large house.

    The Field

The heart of our community: the adjacent field with beautiful, mature maple trees hosts weekly opportunities for tree-climbing and nature exploration; outdoor classes in non-competitive sports skills; impromptu picnics; innumerable after school birthday celebrations; and school gatherings.

  • Group of young children and a teacher pointing at plants or bushes on nature trail.

    The Presidio

Our campus is tucked into a serene corner of the San Francisco Presidio. The Pre-K program explores trails and the surrounding neighborhood on a weekly basis.
